
Full Day Tour Quito - City Tour Old Town & Visit Equator
Pick up from your hotel. Drive to the Guapulo view place to see the Franciscan village in Quito. Here we can see the amazing view of the Guayllabamba valley, east of Quito. Than we will drive to Old Town Quito, to visit XV to XIX cent. Spanish Ecuadorian plazas and churches. We will visit the Basilica, the Presidential Palace where the president of Ecuador works, the Plaza Grande with the Independence Monument, the Sagrario church, the Compania de Jesus church and we will see the facade of San Francisco church and San Francisco plaza.
Drive to Panecillo hill with the statue of the Virgin of Quito from where we will observe the amazing view of Quito’s Heritage of Mankind. Quito is a reliquary of colonial Spanish architecture. We will have a view of Quito's Old Town, North (modern city) and South area.
Continue to the Equator from 10000 ft. we drive to 8000 ft. and we will see interesting landscape changes. Upon arrival we will see the Real Equatorial Line at the in situ Inti Ñan Museum, where we will have the chance to test Coreolli's Theories (water spinning on different ways south & north from the Equator). Also here we will have a description of ethnology from the Quitu Cara ethnic group who populated Quito before the Incas & Spanish arrived. Return to Quito

Full Day Tour Otavalo Indian Market
Pick up from your hotel. Drive through Guayllabamba valley, visit to Calderon bread dough workshop to see this amazing centenary art. Visit to Guayllabamba village for fruit tasting. After this we stop at Santa Rosa view place to see the landscape of Guayllabamba valley and Cayambe valley. Drive through the north part of Cayambe valley and watch beautiful cultivated green areas and get to the Cajas pass at 10000 ft. to reach Imbabura province. We stop at Miralago view place from where we observe an amazing view of San Pablo Lake and Indian villages around plus the Imbabura volcano. Then we go to Otavalo Indian Market, where you can have time to see the goods and buy some souvenirs. After this we'll take you to Cotacachi leather town for leather goods shopping. We also will visit the Cuicocha Crater Lake with a little hike in the caldera trail and flora description. Drive back to Quito.

Full Day Tour Antisana Reserve
Pick up from your hotel. We will drive to visit the Antisana volcano (19500 ft), the most impressive Andean mount near Quito and sanctuary of wild Andean condor and other birds. We drive along the foothills of the Ilalo volcano in order to reach Pintag village. From here we drive up to reach the entrance of Hacienda Antisana. On this part of the road we can visualize the magnificent basaltic gorge of the Antisana volcano. Drive into the hacienda, visit to the wetlands, here we see some species of paramo (tundra plants at 12000 ft.) Here we start to watch interesting Andean birds like the Caranculated Caracara and Black Headed Ibis. We also have the chance to see Andean rabbits (Silvilagus Brasiliensis) and white tail deer (Oidecoileus Virginianus). We can hike there and see the glacier of Antisana. Than we drive up to the Micacocha Lake. Here we will have the chance to watch Andean gulls and speckled teals, typical birds of the Andean water systems. Little hike through marvelous Andean paramo areas and observation and recognition of Andean important flora species like the cushion plant, ranunculo plants, gentians, and others. If we are lucky and if the weather conditions are good we will see Andean Condor (Vultur Gryphus). inthe afternoon. Drive back to Quito

Full Day Tour Cotopaxi National Park
Pick up from your hotel. Drive south through the Pan-American Highway to the entrance of the National Park Cotopaxi. Observations of beautiful extinct volcanoes like the Pasochoa and Rumiñahui. Along the Pan-American we stop for pictures and explanation of the geology of the northern Andes. Beautiful views of green scenic cultivated
areas. We enter the National Park and start to recognize the moraines which were carried down during the last glaciations period of earth. Drive to the Ribas Refuge at 14000 ft. Hike to the refuge from 14000 ft. to 15000 ft. Once we reach the refuge we can take a little rest and than we hike to the glacier (500 ft above). Drive to Limpiopungo Lake and observation of Andean aquatic birds like Andean gull, speckled teal and others. Here we can also see a unique paramo (tundra) landscape. Observation of flora like the Andean gentians, horn deer and valerian species. Drive out of the park and return to Quito.

Full Day Tour Mindo Cloud Forest
Pick up from your hotel. Drive north west out of Quito to the Mindo Cloud Forest area through the off the beaten path road through Nono. Scenic drive through a nice windy road where we will watch plenty of species of orchids that belong to the Epidendrum genus, as well as Cecropia plants and bromeliads. Arrival to the cloud forest reserve where we will watch over 20 species of hummingbirds including the Collared Inca and Purple-throated Woodstar, these unique birds that are one inch size. One of the most interesting species is the Booted Racket-tail, famous for its white feet (like cotton boots) and unique tails. Hike among the trails of the reserve and observation of interesting sub tropical species of trees and other plants. Lunch at el quetzal in Mindo Drive back to Quito.
